FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Typografik was commissioned by the Child Abuse Council of Tampa,
Florida, to design its 30th Anniversary advertising campaign. "This was a rather interesting project" says Mauricio Reyes, owner
and creative director of Typografik. "We wanted to create a campaign
that served two purposes: To advertise the 30th Anniversary of the
Council and also to give a voice to children who are victims of
domestic violence." The campaign included the creation of a seal,
collaterals, and large format advertisements, including billboards
soon to be spotted in the Hillsborough County area of Tampa.

"The biggest challenge of this campaign" says Reyes, "is that we had
to combine several concepts as requested by our client and put them
all under the umbrella of a single campaign. Usually, when you develop
a theme, you pretty much stick to it and create variations.
In this case, each piece had to carry a unique message while blending
with the other components of the campaign. We met this challenge
by creating an overall look and feel that related all the pieces to one
another. The link between all the pieces is visual. "It was a great project to work on. It is so far one of our best."
